There are a ton of creams on the market that are supposed to treat the dreaded cellulite.  Check out to see just a partial list of the creams that companies produce to help you get rid of that jiggle and sour cream appearance of cellulite.  Some of these creams contain some natural ingredients while others have never seen the outside of a chemical laboratory.  Instead of buying a variety of creams to help you get rid of your lumps and bumps, why not try DIYing your own version right in your kitchen?  Check out this nice, fresh version of a cellulite cream recipe before you head to the drug store.

1/2 ounce Beeswax

1/2 ounce Cocoa Butter

2 tablespoons Avocado Oil (this amount can be adjusted up a tablespoon or two if you’d like a thinner cream)

15 drops Juniper essential oil

10 drops Lemon essential oil

Place the beeswax and cocoa butter in a microwaveable, non plastic container and warm in 20 second intervals until both ingredients are melted.  Stir between heating intervals ensuring that you use an all metal spoon.  It is best to avoid plastic in all heating because of the chemicals that can be leeched into your cream.  Stir in the avocado oil to your beeswax/cocoa butter mixture until well combined.  Add your essential oils and store in a well sealed container away from heat and light.  Since this cream contains no preservatives whatsoever, try to use it up within one month to ensure that it does not spoil.  Apply the cream liberally to all affected areas twice a day.  A noticeable difference should be seen within two weeks!  Remember that for the best results and the best health of your body and the planet to use all organic ingredients.  This lotion will be absorbed into your body through your pores so the less the cream contains of chemicals the better.
